With the main event just kick-off, i am waiting to see who will be crown as the 2007 main champion. Before the WSOP started, i was betting to myself that Johnny Chan would be the one. But i wouldn't be upset if he doesn't considering the massive field of players. Last year Jamie Gold outlasted them and bagged $12,000,000.
A few days ago i found out that there will be one tournament in Asia soon. The Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) will be reaching us in August. It got me so excited that i signed up at poker stars immediately. After trying out one of their freerolls, i have to say it was tough. Man, 15 minutes blind structure is pure torture.
On a good note, my mentor got himself an entry to the WSOP Europe Online Final from a satellite on Pokerroom.com. Although we never admit to be mentor/mentee, i treat him as a mentor anyway. I was busy looking at one of the big online tournament too.
I was taking my chances at the UltimateBet Aruba Classic. I came so close to the 50th spot for the entry into semi-final. I guess it was bad luck i ended up on a table with someone who places 3rd in chips lead. That guy got about 200k in chips on the table compared to mine of about 30k. All the other players' chips range from 10k-70k. You can bet i will be playing more of this.
